Are looking to enter the world of motorcycles with the reliability and performance of Kawasaki, then this is great news for you. Kawasaki has updated its entry-level bikes, the Ninja 125 and Z125, with exciting new color options for the 2025 model year.
Aimed at A1-licensed riders, these bikes now feature improved styling, sharp design, and the heritage of their larger models. Learn more about the new look, pricing, and excellent technical specifications of these sporty naked and fully-faired bikes.
Updates and Price in 2025 Models
Kawasaki has not changed the mechanical specifications of the Ninja 125 and Z125, but has made significant cosmetic changes, making them look even more premium. The Ninja 125 is now available in Lime Green and Metallic Graphite Grey with Metallic Spark Black.

Both are priced at £4,699 (approximately ₹5 lakh). The Z125, on the other hand, is available in two attractive colors—Ebony with Pearl Storm Grey and Candy Lime Green with Metallic Spark Black. The Ebony variant is priced at £4,399 (approximately ₹4.5 lakh), while the Candy Lime Green variant is available for £4,299 (approximately ₹4.5 lakh).
Engine, Performance, and Engineering
Both bikes are powered by the same reliable and powerful engine, designed for easy handling, making them excellent for new riders. Both bikes are powered by a 125 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This engine produces 15 bhp of power at 10,000 rpm and 11.7 Nm of torque at 7,700 rpm. The engine is paired with a lightweight trellis-type frame, making handling easy and controlled, especially when the rider is learning to ride a motorcycle.
Features and Design Heritage
Both the Ninja 125 and Z125 draw inspiration from Kawasaki’s rich heritage, giving them a premium feel despite being entry-level. Kawasaki’s Z series debuted in 1972, while the Ninja lineup debuted in 1984. Both new bikes draw inspiration from the design and engineering of their larger models, meaning even beginner riders will get a true Kawasaki racing experience.

The Ninja 125 features a sporty look, full fairing, and supersport positioning. It also comes with the Ergo-Fit accessory, which offers the option to raise the seat height. The Z125’s design is based on the Sugomi style, giving it a sharp and aggressive look. A low seat height option is also available thanks to Ergo-Fit. Both bikes feature all-digital instrumentation, ABS braking, 37mm telescopic front forks, Uni-Trak rear suspension, and 17-inch alloy wheels.
Ideal for New Riders
Kawasaki claims these bikes are perfect for new riders. The comfortable seat height of 785mm, weight under 150kg, and smooth power delivery make them reliable. The easy ergonomics and responsive handling make them especially suitable for those with an A1 license category.
