Maruti Suzuki Eeco continues to be a strong performer in India’s automobile market. In July 2025, it attracted buyers with its affordability and practical design. Without flashy promotions, this budget-friendly 7-seater managed to pull in thousands of customers. Its steady sales show how well it meets the needs of families and small businesses.

Strong July 2025 Sales Performance

Maruti Suzuki closed July 2025 with a total of 1,80,526 cars sold, marking a 3% growth compared to last year. Within this, the Eeco was a standout performer, recording 12,341 unit sales. This was a clear improvement from July 2024, when it sold 11,916 units — a growth of 425 units or 3.57% year-on-year. The van also bounced back from June 2025, when sales stood at 9,340 units.

Consistent Monthly Demand

The Eeco has shown strong demand across months. In November 2024, it sold 10,589 units, followed by 11,678 in December. The momentum continued with 11,250 units in January 2025 and 11,493 in February. March saw 10,409 units sold, April 11,438 units, May 12,327 units, and a dip in June to 9,340 units before rising sharply in July.

Most Affordable 7-Seater in India

The Eeco holds the distinction of being the country’s most affordable 7-seater. Available in 5, 6, and 7-seater configurations, it is priced from ₹5.70 lakh (ex-showroom). This makes it a popular choice among large families, transport operators, and small business owners looking for maximum seating at a low cost.

Engine Options and Mileage

Under the hood, the Eeco comes with a K-series 1.2-litre engine. In petrol mode, it produces 80.76 PS power and 104.5 Nm torque, while in CNG mode, output stands at 71.65 PS and 95 Nm torque. The Tour variant delivers 20.2 km/l mileage in petrol and 27.05 km/kg in CNG. In the passenger variant, mileage is 19.7 km/l (petrol) and 26.78 km/kg (CNG).

Updated Features and Safety

The latest Eeco gets 11 safety features, meeting current and upcoming regulations. These include reverse parking sensors, engine immobilizer, child lock for doors, seat belt reminder, EBD with ABS, and six airbags. Maruti has also added a new steering wheel and a digital instrument cluster, borrowed from the S-Presso and Celerio. The sliding AC controls have been replaced with a modern rotary unit for easier operation.
