Ducati XDiavel V4 – Whenever Italian superbike brand Ducati shows something new, the beat of bike lovers accelerates on their own. This time something similar has happened. The XDiavel V4, introduced at the beginning of the year, now looks ready to come to India. Ducati India has tease this power cruiser on its official social media channels, giving clear indications that India launch is not far away.
If XDiavel V4 is to be understood in a line, it would not be wrong to say that it presents the strength of the Diavel V4 in a more comfortable, laid-back manner. Power is the same engine, but the way of sitting and riding feel is completely different.

Ducati XDiavel V4
XDiavel V4 is actually Ducati’s definition of a cruiser bike. While the Diavel V4 feels like a muscular and aggressive streetfighter, the XDiavel offers the same strength in a relaxed manner. Its biggest difference is seen in the rider’s triangle.

This bike features front-set footpegs and wide, backward-folded handlebar, making the riding position quite relaxed. This setup on long distance rides puts less pressure on the body, just like sitting on a comfortable couch and traveling.
Engine and Performance
If it comes to power, there is no agreement here. The XDiavel V4 has the same 1,158cc V4 engine, which gives strength to the Diavel V4. This engine generates power of 168hp and torque of 126Nm, that is, the bike is ready to leap forward as the throttle rotates.
Mechanically this bike is completely similar to the Ducati Diavel V4. Suspension, braking hardware and electronics are all almost identical. The only difference is that this power can now be used with more peace and control.
Seat Height and Comfort
Ducati has tried to give this bike a really cruiser-like feel. The XDiavel V4 has a seat height of 770mm, which is 20mm less than the Diavel V4. The advantage is that confidence comes as soon as you sit on the bike, especially when stopping at traffic or signal.
The company claims to have also worked on pillion seat. Now the seat is wider and comfortable for the rear seating, which will reduce fatigue on long rides. In addition, for riders who prefer mid-mounted footpegs, Ducati will also give this option as an accessory.
Design
Talking of design, the XDiavel V4 looks more smooth and flowy than the Diavel V4. While Diavel has sharp cuts and aggressive creases, XDiavel’s silhouette appears more clean and elegant.

The design of its alloy wheels is also different, giving it a distinct identity. Overall, this bike looks more mature and classy like a bodybuilder who now shows up in plain clothes as well.
TFT Display
Ducati has left no stone unturned even in terms of technology. XDiavel V4 gets the same electronics suite as in Diavel V4, but a big change is seen here. The bike has a 6.9-inch TFT display, taken directly from the Ducati Panigale V4 and Ducati Streetfighter V4. This display is not only large and sharp, but also makes it easy to read riding modes, navigation and other information.

Launch and Expected Price
Ducati India has started booking for the XDiavel V4, which clearly indicates that the launch is no longer far away. It is expected that this bike will be positioned above the Diavel V4 in India.
At the moment the Diavel V4 is priced at ₹29.08 lakhs (ex-showroom), so the XDiavel V4 may cost slightly more than this. In the premium cruiser segment, it will target riders who also want comfort with power.
