Design
The design of the XDiavel V4 continues Ducati’s special identity. It seems more muscular, sharp and modern version of the XDiavel 1260. The bike’s wide and muscular fuel tank, large air intake, brushed aluminum parts and wide belly pan give it a very aggressive appeal. Its biggest visual highlights are its large V4 engine and 240-section rear tire, which gives the bike a powerful superbike look when viewed from behind. Ducati gives it two color options — Burning Red and Lava Black in —, which further enhances its premium character.
Engine
The Ducati XDiavel V4’s 1,158cc, liquid-cooled V4 engine is its main base. Its 168 bhp power and 126 Nm torque make it better than any other cruiser. The engine delivers power at 10,750 rpm and peak torque at 7,500 rpm, making it smooth and responsive in every situation, from highway cruising to sporty riding. It has a by-directional quickshifter, making it faster and easier to change gears even without a clutch. The V4 engine also has cylinder deactivation technology, which closes the previous cylinder at low rpm to prevent overheating and improve fuel efficiency.
