Among these, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Renault Triber are the most sought-after cars, consistently attracting crowds at showrooms.

Maruti Suzuki’s Ertiga is one of India’s best-selling 7-seater MPVs. Its new update was recently launched and features no mechanical changes, maintaining its proven performance. The car is powered by a 1.5-liter petrol engine that produces 102 bhp and 136.8 Nm of torque. The car is available with a five-speed manual and a six-speed automatic transmission. Its CNG version, which produces 87 bhp and 121.5 Nm of torque, is also quite popular and is offered only with a manual transmission. The Ertiga is also a strong contender in its segment in terms of pricing, with a starting price of ₹8.96 lakh (ex-showroom).

Renault Triber

The Renault Triber is one of the most affordable 7-seater cars in the Indian market. It’s a great choice for both small and large families. The new Triber is powered by a 1-liter, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 72 hp and 96 Nm of torque. It’s available with both a 5-speed manual and an AMT automated manual transmission. The company has also added a more powerful engine option this time around. Notably, the Triber also offers a CNG retrofit option, which the company offers at the dealer level. However, this is an additional cost, and it comes with a three-year warranty. Its starting price is ₹5.76 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the most affordable 7-seater.
