Honda has introduced its popular 125cc segment bike CB 125 F (SP125) in a new form in Germany. This bike is specially designed for A1 category license holders. In 2024, this bike was the 14th best-selling lightweight motorcycle in Germany. The company has been selling it in Europe since 2015 and so far about 82,000 units have been sold.

What’s new this time – What is special in 2026 CB 125 F?

Honda has made many technological upgrades in this bike this time. The biggest thing is that now it is getting an automatic start-stop system. When the bike is stopped in traffic, its engine stops automatically and starts again as soon as the clutch is pressed. This saves a lot of fuel when moving intermittently in the city. This feature is already being offered in the SP125 model in India.

Apart from this, it has eSP (Enhanced Smart Power) technology, which improves both the performance and mileage of the bike. The bike also has an ACG starter, which starts the engine without any noise.

Mileage and tank capacity

The new CB 125 F claims that it can run up to 100 km in 1.4 liters of petrol, that is, a mileage of about 71 km / liter. However, in real life this figure depends on the riding style and traffic – usually it can be 60 to 65 km / liter. It has a fuel tank of 11 liters, that is, once the tank is filled, it can cover a distance of about 800 km.

Engine and performance

This bike has a 124cc engine meeting Euro 5+ emission norms, which gives a power of about 11 hp and torque of 11 Nm. This engine is connected to a 5-speed gearbox and its top speed is 95 km / h.

Digital Display and Connectivity

Now it has a new 4.2-inch TFT color display that offers Honda’s RoadSync connectivity system. With its help, users can use features like calls, messages, music, weather information and navigation – and that too with just voice commands.

The digital display gives you many information like:

  • Live mileage
  • Average mileage
  • Distance covered with remaining fuel
  • Gear indicator
  • Maintenance alert
  • Eco mode indicator

Also, it now includes a Type-C USB charging port so that you can charge your phone anywhere.

Design and Ride Quality

The frame of the bike is still diamond type. Telescopic forks are provided in the front and dual shock absorbers in the rear. For braking, there is a disc brake in the front and a drum brake in the rear, which has CBS (Combi-Brake System). The seat height of 790mm makes it comfortable for most riders.

Price and color options

Despite the addition of so many new features, Honda has not changed its price. Its price in Germany has been kept at €3,199 (about ₹3.05 lakh). This bike is manufactured in India and then exported to European markets.

The 2026 model is available in three colors in Germany:

  • Imperial Red Metallic
  • Matt Marvel Blue Metallic
  • Matt Axis Gray Metallic

At the same time, two more extra color options are available in India:

  • Pearl Igneous Black
  • Pearl Siren Blue
