Maruti Suzuki Ignis
Maruti Suzuki is providing a cash discount of up to ₹60,000 on its budget hatchback Ignis during the month of July. The discount is applicable on all manual and AMT variants at Nexa dealerships. The advantage can also be clubbed with exchange or scrappage incentive. Manual trims are provided up to ₹55,000 benefits, while AMT trims provide benefits up to ₹60,000. The advantage is being offered only until 31st July. The base ex-showroom price of Ignis is ₹5.85 lakh.
Engine and Mileage
Ignis is equipped with a 1.2-litre petrol engine delivering 83PS power and 113Nm torque. It has both 5-speed manual and automatic transmission options. The company provides mileage of 20.89 km/l, and thus it is a very fuel-efficient car suitable for everyday city driving. But the model does not have any CNG variant.
Design and Build
Inspired by small SUV styling, Ignis stands out in the hatchback segment. Built on Suzuki’s Total Effective Control Technology (TECT) platform, it offers a solid structure. The newly launched Radiance Edition adds some cosmetic upgrades that give it a more premium look than the regular version.

Maruti Suzuki Ignis comes in seven monotone and three dual-tone colors. The monotone shades available are Nexa Blue, Lucent Orange, Silky Silver, Turquoise Blue, Glistening Grey, Pearl Arctic White, and Pearl Midnight Black. Dual-tone hues offer classy contrasts such as black or silver roofs to give it a more attractive look.
