Tulsi Vivah Shubh Muhurat to receive blessings from Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Narayan

Tulsi Vivah Shubh Muhurat: Tulsi Vivah is celebrated as a Hindu festival. Every year, Tulsi Vivah takes place on Devuthani Ekadashi. In Sanatan Dharma, Tulsi is considered a form of Goddess Lakshmi, who is also dear to Lord Vishnu.

According to beliefs, on Devuthani Ekadashi, Lord Vishnu awakens from his four-month yogic sleep. After this, all auspicious ceremonies begin. On this day, married women also observe a fast for the long life of their husbands and the well-being of their families.

For your information, on Devuthani Ekadashi, the marriage of the Shaligram form of Lord Vishnu and Mother Tulsi is solemnised with significant rituals. From then on, auspicious wedding ceremonies begin.

Auspiciousness of Tulsi Vivah

This year, Tulsi Vivah is on November 2. The Dwadashi Tithi of the Shukla Paksha of the Kartik month begins at 7:31 am and ends at 5:07 am on November 3. Before, the Brahma Muhurat is from 4:50 am to 5:42 am. The Abhijit Muhurta is from 11:42 am to 12:26 pm. The Vijay Muhurta is from 1:55 pm to 2:39 pm. The Godhuli Muhurta is from 5:35 pm to 6:01 pm. The Amrit Kaal Muhurta is from 9:29 pm to 11:00 pm. The Nishita Muhurta is from 11:39 pm to 12:31 am.

Tulsi Vivah Puja Method

  1. Tulsi Mata should be installed in the courtyard, balcony, or temple of the house.
  2. A beautiful pavilion should be adorned with rangoli around the Tulsi plant.
  3. After this, a scarf or other makeup items should be offered to Tulsi Mata.
  4. Lord Shaligram should be placed on the right side of Tulsi.
  5. First, both should be bathed, and then a tilak of sandalwood should be applied to Shaligram, and a tilak of vermillion to Tulsi Mata.
  6. Tulsi and Shaligram should be offered sweets, flowers, sugarcane, water chestnuts, and Panchamrit.
  7. The marriage rituals should be performed by lighting incense and a lamp.
  8. It should be noted that rice is not offered to Shaligram. Instead, white sandalwood or oil can be provided.
  9. Then, seven rounds should be taken around Tulsi Mata and Lord Shaligram.
  10. After the marriage, an aarti should be performe,d and the prasad should be distributed among all.
