This linking has been made mandatory for sanctioning money for 100 days of work. The central government announced this decision in January. Earlier, the deadline was June 30. However, this time instead of June 30, the deadline has been extended, August 31 is the last day to link Aadhar card with job card.
Fraud in the context of Aadhar card update, users are victims of fraud, warning from Aadhar authorities
Recently, a new fraud has come to light. Where personal information is being asked from users in the name of updating Aadhar card. Basically, this information is being asked from users through WhatsApp, SMS or phone. Even messages are coming through email. This is the real trap. Danger if you step in. Once the personal information of the users falls into the hands of fraudsters, it is no longer safe. In this regard, the UIDAI authorities have issued a warning on social media. They have said that UIDAI will not ask users for information through WhatsApp, SMS or phone to update Aadhaar in any way, rather, if users want to update their Aadhaar card, they will have to go to the official website of UIDAI. Or to an Aadhaar center near their home where the card can be updated offline.

UIDAI never asks you to share your POI/ POA documents to update your #Aadhaar over Email or Whatsapp.

Update 10-year-old Aadhaar
UIDAI is recently running a campaign, in which the authorities have asked to update Aadhaar that is more than 10 years old. UIDAI has said that those whose Aadhaar is more than 10 years old should update their information. In that case, the Proof of Identity and Proof of Address (POI / POA) documents should be updated in Aadhaar. For this, UIDAI is also providing the facility of free Aadhaar update. Earlier this free service was available till 14 June 2023, which has now been extended till 14 September 2023.
