Suzuki e-Access – The electric scooter segment in India is no longer limited to just startup brands. Now large and reliable Japanese brands have also landed in this race with full force. In this episode, Suzuki Motorcycle India has officially started booking its first electric scooter Suzuki e-Access.
Launched at a price of ₹1.88 lakh, e-Access targets customers who want to shift from petrol access to electric, but without any hassle and risk. This scooter is considered not just a new product, but the first strong foundation of Suzuki’s electric mobility.

Booking Details and New Color Options
Booking of Suzuki e-Access has now started at all authorized Suzuki dealerships across the country. The special thing is that the company has also introduced a new dual-tone color along with booking Metallic Mat Stellar Blue / Metallic Mat Fibroin Gray.

The e-Access is now available in a total of four color options, including premium shades such as Pearl Grace White, Pearl Jade Green and Metallic Mat Black. These colors give the scooter a simple but elegant look, which makes the access users feel instantly adopted.

Design and Build Quality
The design of the Suzuki e-Access is not very futuristic, and that is its greatest strength. It looks like a scooter that can be easily adopted daily.
Premium switchgear, tight panel gaps and vibration-free body give it a distinct identity in terms of quality. It features LED lighting and two-tone alloy wheels, giving it a modern look as well as a reliable feel.

Battery and E-technology
Suzuki e-Access is designed on Suzuki’s new e-Technology. It has a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery pack of 3.07 kWh, which Suzuki describes as safer and durable than traditional NMC batteries.
Performance
Suzuki e-Access features a 4.1 kW electric motor, which generates 15 Nm of torque. It has a top speed of 71 kmph, which is considered perfect for city traffic and daily travel.

Three riding modes are found in the scooter – Eco, Ride A and Ride B. Eco mode focuses on more range, while Ride A and Ride B give a slightly more responsive feel. It is also provided with facilities such as reverse assist and regenerative braking, which make everyday drive easier.

Range and Charging
Suzuki e-Access’s IDC-certified riding range is approximately 95 kilometers. This range is sufficient for those whose daily commute is limited to office, market, and small errands.
Regarding charging, it takes approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes to charge the battery from 0 to 80 percent using a standard home charger, while a full charge takes 6 hours and 42 minutes. With fast charging, this time is significantly reduced. 80 percent charge is achieved in just 1 hour and 12 minutes, and a full charge is achieved in approximately 2 hours and 12 minutes.

Features
Let me tell you that Suzuki e-Access has a maintenance-free drive belt, designed to run for 7 years or 70,000 kilometers. The lightweight chassis and aluminum battery case make the scooter strong and balanced.
