Team India is scheduled to play a three-match ODI series against New Zealand at home, starting January 11th. The BCCI announced the squads a few days ago. All eyes will once again be on the performances of Team India’s star players, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, in this series.
Both Rohit and Kohli displayed impressive batting performances in the ODI series against South Africa late last year. Rohit has begun training in Mumbai for the ODI series against New Zealand, and a video of him interacting with a fan is going viral on social media.

During practice, a fan asked Rohit Sharma if he would like to eat Vada Pav
Former Indian captain Rohit Sharma loves to eat Vada Pav, but keeping his fitness in mind, he has given up eating all these things. While training for the upcoming ODI series against New Zealand in Mumbai, when a fan asked Rohit to eat Vada Pav, he smiled and politely refused.
In the last few years, Rohit Sharma has become very serious about his fitness, in which after announcing his retirement from Test cricket, he is now completely concentrating on the ODI format. This is not the first time that Rohit has refused to eat Vada Pav. Earlier, during the Vijay Hazare Trophy match in Jaipur, a fan had offered him Vada Pav, which Rohit had refused.

The ODI series against New Zealand is going to be very important for Rohit Sharma, in which he will want to continue his batting prowess. Team India will be playing the next ODI series after a long gap, hence keeping in mind the preparations for the ODI World Cup to be held in the year 2027, the selectors will be keeping an eye on the form of many players.
