How to get a duplicate driving license:

  • If you lose your driving license, first go to the nearest police station and file a complaint about it. If your name or any information has been deleted from your old license, then you have to submit the previous license first and then apply for a new driving license.
  • To apply for a duplicate driving license online, first click on the website of your state transport department.
  • It is mandatory to provide all the information while applying on this https://morth.gov.in/ website.
  • Download the LAD form from the specific window of the website and print it.
  • Now you have to submit the form along with the necessary documents to the RTO.
  • After applying, the duplicate driving license will be delivered to the address you have given by speed post.

It will cost 400 Rs to get the driving license, vehicle registration blue book as a smart card. An additional 200 taka will have to be paid to the transport department for each smart card.
