According to reports, the proposal will be presented to the Aadhaar authorities on December 1. CEO Bhavnesh Kumar, at an online conference organized for a new Aadhaar-related app, said that a new rule is being considered for December.

UIDAI CEO said, “Why should there be any information on the card? It should only have a picture and a QR code. If we continue to give printed information, people will rely on it. Those who know how to misuse it will continue to do so.”
