Arjun Tendulkar, son of legendary Sachin Tendulkar, has once again caught everyone’s attention with his strong performance in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Arjun, who left the Mumbai team and joined the Goa team before the 2025–2026 season, bowled brilliantly against Madhya Pradesh in Kolkata on Wednesday and took three important wickets in four overs. He took 3 wickets for 36 runs in his spell and gave away only five runs in the first two overs.

This season of the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament has turned into a season for Arjun Tendulkar to prove his talent. In the tournament, he has not only impressed cricket fans with his bowling, but also with his batting work. He is now batting as an opener for his team, making runs and taking wickets in regular occasion.

Bowling with the new ball, he got the team off to a good start by dismissing Shivang Kumar in the very first over. He then dismissed Ankush Singh in the second over. Arjun also kept Venkatesh Iyer, who was struggling to find his rhythm, from the front. He also contributed to the dismissal of Rajat Patidar, caught by Kaushik V.

Arjun’s accurate bowling restricted Madhya Pradesh to 170 for 6 in 20 overs. Chasing the target, Arjun provided Goa with a quick start, scoring 16 runs (three fours) in just 10 balls. He has consistently provided the team with a strong opening innings.
