Monsoon Update – Clouds Will Thunder, Torrential Rain Warning in 5 States

IMD Alert: The weather is experiencing significant changes in most parts of India. Continuous snowfall in the mountainous regions of North India has caused temperatures to drop significantly. The falling temperatures have significantly reduced the cold in the plains. Meanwhile, a low-pressure system is developing in the Bay of Bengal, South Sri Lanka, and parts of the Indian Ocean.

This is expected to impact several Indian states. Heavy rains and thunderstorms are expected in Tamil Nadu and neighbouring states. Furthermore, Bihar and Jharkhand are experiencing a cold spell due to the drop in temperatures. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, heavy rains are expected in various parts of the country.

Heavy Rain Warning in These States

The IMD has issued a warning for heavy rains in the Bay of Bengal. Its effects could be felt in Tamil Nadu until December 1st. A heavy rain alert has been issued there. Rainfall is also possible in some areas of Kerala. Rain is expected in many parts of Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh.

Heavy rainfall is expected in some areas of Telangana and Rayalaseema on November 29th and 30th. Anticipating the possibility of a storm, people have been advised to stay away from coastal areas. Fishermen have also been asked to stay away from the sea.

Know the Temperature Expectations

According to the Meteorological Department, no significant change in minimum temperatures is expected in northwest India over the next 24 hours.
