MAHINDRA XEV 9S
This model is the top seating in Mahindra’s electric range. Its design was not intentionally placed like the XUV700 so that it could make its mark as a completely different and modern EV.
Futuristic Exterior
Just looking at the SUV’s front end, it’s clear that Mahindra has focused heavily on styling this time around. A layered lighting setup with separate projector units, a full-width LED light bar, and a boomerang-style LED signature give it a high-tech look. The closed grille and smooth body lines give it the appeal of a true electric SUV.
Interior
Talking about the interior, the first look is on its continuous triple-screen setup, which covers the entire dashboard, as soon as it steps inside. This reflects Mahindra’s new EV design language which we also saw in the XEV 9e. The light-colored interior, slim air vents and twin Peaks logo two-spoke steering wheels make it modern and classy.

Rear Entertainment
The most interesting part of the new teaser is its BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) system. Passengers can easily attach their tablets or screens to the seat mounts. Mahindra has thus adopted a lightweight, smart, and modern approach to entertainment without the need for bulky built-in screens.
Platform
The XEV 9S is built on Mahindra’s new INGLO Skateboard platform, which also powers the BE 6 and XEV 9e. This modular platform supports different battery and motor configurations.
Since this is a large three-row SUV, the slight extra weight may impact performance, but range and driving quality are not expected to be significantly affected.
Real-World Range
Mahindra is likely targeting a real-world range of 500 km+ for this EV, making it a reliable and practical electric SUV for long-distance travel.
