Concept Difference
Both cars are in the compact SUV segment, but their approaches are completely different. The Tata Sierra is a legend that evokes nostalgia and trust. It’s a car that carries history. Meanwhile, the Tata Curvv is a completely new and unique concept. It’s an SUV-coupe, meaning it has an SUV stance and a coupe-like sleek design. While the Curvv tried to win over people with its freshness and new design, the Sierra is coming to disrupt the market with its legacy and modern features.

Exterior
When it comes to exterior design, both the Sierra and Curvv offer distinct styles. The Sierra features auto-LED headlights, full-width LED taillights, and full-width LED DRLs. It also features 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, giving it a dominant stance on the road. Front and rear skid plates, black roof rails, and flush-type door handles further enhance its premium feel. The Curvv, on the other hand, has a slightly different design. It features auto-LED projector headlights with connected LED DRLs and features like welcome and goodbye animations. It features 18-inch wheels and an overall sporty SUV-coupe feel.
Interior
Both cars offer a premium and luxurious feel. The Sierra’s cabin features a black and beige dual-tone theme, leatherette upholstery, and multi-color ambient lighting. Vanity mirrors for both driver and passenger seats are available, and adjustable headrests are available for all seats. The Curvv’s interior also features a dual-tone dashboard, multi-color ambient lighting, and leatherette seats. A notable feature is its 4-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, which adds to the premium feel.
Comfort and Technology
Tata has left no stone unturned in terms of comfort and technology in both cars. The Sierra is likely to feature a 12.3-inch digital driver display and a co-passenger entertainment screen as a key feature. It features dual-zone auto AC, ventilated front seats, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, and a manual boss mode. It also has a panoramic sunroof and a 12-speaker JBL sound system with a soundbar. The Curvv, on the other hand, features a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, dual-zone auto AC, and ventilated front seats, along with passive ventilation for the rear seats and an air purifier. The Curvv also features a powered tailgate with gesture control and paddle shifters.
Safety
Tata has always been at the forefront of safety, and this is evident in both cars. Both the Sierra and Curvv feature Level-2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System). Additionally, both have features like multiple airbags, electronic stability program, a 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, and a tire pressure monitoring system. The Curvv also features advanced features like rain-sensing wipers and driver drowsiness detection, which are especially useful during long drives.

Engine and Performance
The Sierra appears to be a bit stronger in terms of power. The Sierra is expected to come with a brand-new 1.5-liter T-GDI turbo petrol engine that produces 170 PS of power and 280 Nm of torque. A 1.5-liter diesel engine will also be available. Both engines will be available with a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT automatic transmission. The Curvv, meanwhile, has a 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine that produces 120 PS and 125 PS. The Curvv also has a 1.5-liter diesel engine option. Simply put, if you need more power, the Sierra may be the better choice.
