Tata Sierra Returns
Tata Sierra has been one of the most iconic SUVs in India. From 1993 to 2001, this model made its mark. Now Tata is bringing it back to the new avatar. The 90s model looks clear in its design, but the features and styling are completely modern.
The focus of Tata Motors has always been on features and advanced technology, as seen in Nexon, Harrier, Safari and Curvv. Sierra also appears to follow the same philosophy.
Exterior
Tata Sierra’s exterior look gives quite a bold and premium feel. It has auto-LED headlights, LED taillights, sequential indicators, front and rear skid plates and large 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. Black roof rails, flush door handles and faux alpine window make it quite stylish.
The same Curvv’s exterior is also rich in modern and coupe-style silhouette. It offers animated connected LED DRLs, projector headlights and 18-inch alloy wheels. But Sierra’s overall stance gives more muscular and rugged appeal which takes it a little further into the design comparison.
Interior & Cabin Experience
The cabin of Sierra is theme dual-tone black & beige, which gives a premium and airy feel. Leatherette upholstery, ambient lighting, extendable sunshades and adjustable headrests make it comfortable. Front centre armrest, rear cupholder armrest and seat back pocket further enhance comfort.
Curvv’s interior is also dual-tone, but its 4-spoke steering wheel gives futuristic touch with illuminated logo. Leatherette seats and ambient lighting are found, but in the case of cabin space and premium feel, Sierra goes a little further.
Comfort
Sierra offers several top-end comfort features like dual-zone AC, ventilated seats, a power driver seat, extendable under-thigh support, Boss Mode, a rear sunshade, and puddle lamps. A panoramic sunroof, wireless charger, and auto-dimming IRVM are also included.
The Curvv also offers premium features like ventilated seats, dual-zone AC, a powered tailgate, an air purifier, and gesture control. Paddle shifters, a cooled glove box, and a height-adjustable passenger seat give it a modern SUV feel.
Technology
Here Sierra clearly outshines Curvv. It includes Triple screen setup, all screens in 12.3-inch size, 12-speaker JBL system + sound bar.
The digital driver’s display in Curvv is 10.25-inch and the center touchscreen is 12.3-inch. JBL audio system is found, but ultra-premium technology like triple-screen is not in it.

Safety Features
Both SUVs receive level-2 ADAS, ESP, traction control, 360° camera, TPMS, auto-hold parking brake and 3-point seatbelts. Although multiple airbags are available in Sierra, 6 airbags are currently offered in Curvv.
