BPSC 71st Result Declared. The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the results of the highly anticipated 71st Prelims exam. A total of 4.71 lakh candidates applied this year, of which 3.16 lakh appeared for the exam. The Commission officially stated that 14,261 candidates qualified for the Prelims exam and will now advance to the next stage, the Mains exam. With the release of the results, candidates are increasingly curious about the dates of the Mains exam, which the Commission is expected to announce soon.

When will the BPSC 71st Mains exam be held?

According to the BPSC notification, the 71st Mains exam will be held between March and April 2026. Although the official date has not been released yet, the Commission is expected to announce the Mains exam schedule a few days after the Prelims results.

Candidates who have passed the Prelims are advised to accelerate their studies without waiting and study regularly for 6–7 hours daily.

BPSC Mains Exam Pattern: How many papers are there?

The BPSC 71st Mains Exam will consist of a total of 5 papers, as per the Commission’s traditional structure:

  • General Hindi
  • General Studies (GS) Paper 1
  • General Studies (GS) Paper 2
  • Essay
