Ladki Bahin Yojana: Maharashtra government has taken a big decision on Ladki Bahin Yojana. This decision of the government has brought a wave of happiness among the women of the state. The deadline for e-KYC of Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana has been extended. Earlier the government had fixed the date for completion of this work by 18th November.

But due to technical problems, more than 1.10 crore women were not able to get their eKYC done. Now Maharashtra government has extended its date. Its last date has been made 31st December 2025. In such a situation, now the women of the state will be able to get their e-KYC done till the end of the year.

Aditi Tatkare, the state’s Women and Child Development Minister and MLA from the Shrivardhan constituency, stated in a post on Instagram that under the leadership of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, the Majhi Ladki Behen Yojana is running successfully across the state. Previously, all beneficiaries were instructed to complete e-KYC by November 18, 2025. This deadline has now been extended to December 31, 2025.

Why was the e-KYC deadline extended?

Tatkare wrote on Twitter that recently, our state faced many challenges, including a natural disaster. I am aware that many eligible women have not been able to complete the e-KYC process for the “Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Behin Yojana” on time. Recognizing these difficulties, the state government has taken an important decision. The e-KYC deadline for the Ladki Behin Yojana has been extended to December 31st.

How to complete eKYC for the Ladki Behin Yojana?

To perform e-KYC for the Mukhyamantri-Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, head over to the website https://ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in.

2. By clicking on the e-KYC banner on the homepage, you’ll access the e-KYC form.

3. In this form, beneficiaries need to input their Aadhaar number and captcha code. After agreeing to Aadhaar authentication, click on Send OTP. An OTP will be sent to the mobile number linked to the beneficiary’s Aadhaar. Enter this OTP and hit Submit.

4. The system will then verify if the beneficiary’s KYC has been completed or not.

5. If the e-KYC is already done, a message stating ‘e-KYC already completed’ will show up.

6. If it hasn’t been completed, the system will check if the Aadhaar number is on the eligible list for the scheme.

7. If the Aadhaar number is eligible, you can move on to the next step.

To benefit from this scheme, you’ll need your Aadhar card, an identity card, a bank account, a caste certificate, a residence certificate, an age verification certificate, a ration card, a passport-sized photo, an income certificate, a birth certificate, and a voter ID.
