SSC Set to Announce CGL Tier-1 Results. The wait for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier-1 exam conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has now reached its final stage. The exam was conducted across the country from September 12th to 26th, 2025, in a total of 45 shifts. After the exam concluded, the Commission released the provisional answer key, which received over 1,000 objections from candidates. The results will be released only after these objections are resolved.

It should be noted that the SSC conducts large-scale recruitment, forcing candidates to apply for these recruitments from time to time. The CGL Tier-1 exam results are expected soon, after which the main exam will be conducted.

When will the SSC CGL Tier-1 Result be released?

The SSC Chairman recently stated that a large number of objections have been filed by candidates this time, and their investigation is taking some time. The Commission will first review all questions before releasing the final answer keys and results.

It is estimated that the SSC CGL Tier-1 Result 2025 may be announced by the end of this month or in the first week of December 2025. Candidates are advised to keep their registration numbers and roll numbers ready.

How to Check the SSC CGL Result 2025

As soon as the result is released, candidates can check their results by following the simple steps below:

  • Step 1: First, visit the SSC official website, ssc.gov.in.
  • Step 2: Click on the link “CGL Tier-1 Result 2025” on the homepage.
  • Step 3: The result will open in a PDF format.
  • Step 4: Download the PDF and check your status by entering your roll number in the search option.

A total of 14,582 posts will be recruited.

Under the SSC CGL 2025 recruitment drive, the Commission is going to fill a total of 14,582 vacant posts. The category-wise vacancies are as follows:

  • Unreserved (UR): 6183 posts
  • OBC: 3721 posts
  • EWS: 1423 posts
  • SC: 2167 posts
  • ST: 1088 posts

The Tier-1 exam is considered a screening test only. Only candidates who qualify will be eligible for the Tier-2 exam.

When will the Tier-2 exam be held?

According to sources, the SSC CGL Tier-2 exam is likely to be held in January or February 2026. Candidates who qualify in Tier-2 will be called for the further selection process, which will include a skill test and document verification. After completing the final stage, the Commission will release the final merit list, based on which candidates will be appointed to various departments.
