Design and looks
Yamaha has designed the MT 15 V2 on the “The Dark Side of Japan” theme and its design looks aggressive from every angle. Its muscular fuel tank, sharp LED headlamps and sporty tail section give the bike a real streetfighter look. Its narrow but strong body panels improve its aerodynamics. The bike’s low weight (141 kg) makes it even more agile, giving it great performance in both the city’s traffic and highways.
Engine and performance
The Yamaha MT 15 V2 features a 155cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine, generating power of 18.1 bhp @ 10,000 rpm and torque of 14.1 Nm @ 7,500 rpm. It features Yamaha’s VVA (Variable Valve Actuation) technology, which balances both power at high speed and efficiency at low speed. The engine comes with a 6-speed gearbox and features Slipper and Assist Clutch that provide smooth gear shifting and control.
Suspension and braking system
The suspension system of this bike gives it stability and comfort in riding.
