Vande Bharat: The new Vande Bharat Express, launched recently between Varanasi and Khajuraho, is proving a burden on passengers. More than 300 seats were found vacant on the train, scheduled to run on November 14, 15, and 16. Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the Varanasi-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express from Varanasi Railway Station on November 9.

According to passengers, the primary reason for this is the high price. The chair car fare has been fixed at ₹1,400, which is double the standard AC third class fare on this route (approximately ₹565-₹580). The executive class fare is ₹2,470. This is why passengers are rarely travelling on the Vande Bharat Express and are looking for other trains.
