RRB Group D Vacancy: A job in the railways is the first choice for most young people. The Indian Railways regularly releases recruitment notifications for vacant positions. Number of Track Maintainer Posts
In this Group D recruitment process, the Railway Recruitment Board will fill the highest number of positions for Track Maintainer Grade IV. The railways have approved 11,000 posts for this recruitment. There are also vacancies for a Pointsman Assistant. According to the information available, the last date for applying is expected to be February 20, 2026.
The likely educational qualification for this Group D recruitment is a 10th-grade pass. Candidates with ITI qualifications will also have the opportunity to apply. Details regarding eligibility will be clarified after the recruitment advertisement is released. Candidates must finalise their application after reviewing the advertisement.
Selection Process
To be a part of the recruitment process, candidates will have to pass a Computer-Based Test (CBT). Candidates who secure the minimum cut-off marks in the exam will be considered qualified for the next stage of recruitment, the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). After the PET, candidates will need to participate in document verification and a medical examination. A final list of selected candidates will be released after all these stages.
Application Fee
For this railway recruitment, General, OBC, and EWS category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 50. The fee for SC/ST, PWD, EBC, and all female candidates is Rs. 250.

Once the application link is active, click on the “Various Posts in Level 1 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix” link.
Then, for registration, click on the “New Registration Link
You will then need to fill in details such as your name, date of birth, father’s name, mother’s name, Aadhaar card number, 10th standard marks, email ID, and mobile number.
After completing the registration process, you can log in using your registration number and password.
Next, carefully fill in all the required information.
Then, upload your photograph and signature, and submit the application fee.
Finally, you can take a printout of the completed form and keep it safe.
