Monsoon Update: The weather is changing rapidly. Winter has begun to arrive in many states across the country. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), a cyclonic circulation is present over the Bay of Bengal, West Bengal, and northern Tamil Nadu. The Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rainfall at many places in Tamil Nadu on November 10, 12, and 13.
Thunderstorms are expected in these states, with heavy rain expected at some places. Similar weather conditions will prevail in Kerala on November 10. Furthermore, cold wave conditions will persist at isolated places in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Jharkhand on November 10-11. This will continue for the next 3-4 days. Northeast India may also see a drop of 2-3 degrees in minimum temperatures over the next 48 hours.
Weather Conditions in Uttar Pradesh
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Uttar Pradesh is expected to remain dry for the time being. Additionally, a western disturbance will be active between November 21st and 25th. This could cause rainfall in some districts.
Rain Alert in Uttarakhand
According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain and snowfall are expected in Uttarakhand due to the impact of western disturbances. An alert has been issued regarding this.
Southern India Weather Forecast
According to the Meteorological Department, rain is likely in Tamil Nadu on November 9th, 12th, and 13th, and in Kerala and Mahe on November 10th. Lightning is expected during this period. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding this.
Cold Wave Warning in Jharkhand
The IMD has issued a cold wave alert for six districts of Jharkhand from November 10th to 12th. A cold wave warning has been issued for Palamu, Garhwa, Chatra, Gumla, Latehar, and Lohardaga districts from 8:30 am on November 10th to 12th. According to the Meteorological Department, dense fog is likely in the morning.
