Under this system, vehicle registration has been tightened. Under this system, dealers must send the vehicle registration file to the RTO office within seven days of selling the vehicle. An order has been issued by the Madhya Pradesh Transport Department.

Vehicle Owners Will Benefit

According to information, under this new system, vehicle owners will receive vehicle registration numbers very quickly. Failure to do so could result in a hefty fine for the dealer, with a 5% penalty based on the price of the vehicle sold.

Thousands of vehicles were purchased in the city during this festival. Many dealers have not sent vehicle files to the RTO, resulting in significant delays for vehicle owners receiving registration numbers.

The Implemented System

Let us inform you that there should be no delay in obtaining registration numbers. For this, the RTO has implemented a new system. Under this, insurance will be issued after the vehicle is sold. A sales letter will also be issued to the dealer on the same day. Shortly after this, the file will be sent to the RTO.

According to a Transport Department official, the documents will be sent to the office within 7 days of the vehicle being sold. After this, the vehicles will have to be registered. If the documents are not sent on time, action will be taken against the dealers, and penalties will also be imposed.
