This West Bengal School Service Commission exam was conducted on September 7, 2025, for the recruitment of teachers for grades 9th to 10th, and on September 14, 2025, for teachers for grades 11th to 12th.
This time, 478 examination centres were set up across the state for the exam, and over two lakh candidates appeared. A total of 35,726 teacher positions will be filled under this recruitment process. Of these, 23,212 positions are reserved for classes 9-10 and 2,514 for classes 11-12.
