Engine and performance
Talking about engine and performance, the Yamaha R15 V4 has the same reliable 155cc BS6 engine, which generates power of 18.1 bhp and torque of 14.2 Nm. The engine is equipped with a VVA (Variable Valve Actuation) system, which provides smooth performance in every rave range. It features a 6-speed gearbox, which comes with an assist and slipper clutch, making gear shifting extremely easy and smooth. The bike weighs 141 kg and has an 11 liter fuel tank, which is great for long rides.
New features
In the 2023 model, Yamaha equipped this bike with many new and advanced features. Now the R15M variant has a color TFT display instead of the earlier LCD, which also has Bluetooth connectivity. This system shows you incoming calls, SMS, email notifications, and even the battery level of the phone. In addition, its smartphone app offers features such as fuel consumption track, maintenance alert, last parked location and Malfunction notification.
Lighting and Electronic Features
