The Global Passport Service Program has started. The Consulate General of India in Dubai announced this. The service began on October 28. The new upgraded e-Passport will have a special embedded chip. What benefits will you get from it?

In this new e-Passport service, you can upload your information through the Passport Service Program portal. If there is any mistake in your application, you can correct it on the portal. The e-Passport’s special chip will store all the information of the passport holder in digital form. Because of this, immigration will be faster and take less time.

How the New Process Works

In this new process, applicants can upload their ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organisation) photograph, signature, and required documents through the Passport Services portal. This online process will save time and reduce visits to the international center.
