New LPG Rates: In early November, across the country, LPG cylinder rates have been revised. The state which has oil marketing companies, they are cut the rate of the 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders by ₹5. The new prices was announced on Tuesday, November 1, 2025. Where and what is the new price?

According to the data from Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) the new price for the 19 kg commercial cylinder in Delhi is now listed at ₹1,590.50 down from ₹1,595.50. In Mumbai the new price is ₹1,542, in Kolkata ₹1,694, and in Chennai ₹1,750.

Incidently the commercial LPG cylinder was raised by ₹15 the last time they were changed on October 19. This is the first decrease since that increase.

Commercial LPG Price Reduced, No Change in Domestic Cylinder Rates

According to IOCL’s updated price list, a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder will now cost ₹1,876 in Patna, Noida, and Lucknow, ₹1,853.50 in Bhopal, and ₹1,607 in Gurugram.

This cylinder is mainly used in hotels, restaurants, dhabas, and other commercial places. The price cut has brought some relief to cooking costs in the commercial sector.

No Change in Domestic LPG Price

There is a good News to Middle-class families. Domestic cooking gas prices remain unchanged. The price of a 14.2 kg LPG cylinder was last revised on April 8, 2025, and there has been no change since then.

Currently, the price of LPG is ₹853 in Delhi, ₹879 in Kolkata, ₹852.50 in Mumbai, ₹868.50 in Chennai, ₹890.50 in Lucknow, ₹860 in Ahmedabad, ₹905 in Hyderabad, ₹916.50 in Varanasi, and ₹951 in Patna. In short, while domestic LPG prices remain the same, the business sector has got slight relief with a small price cut in commercial gas cylinders this November.
