Big news for LPG Customers. Bharat Gas has rolled out the first-ever AI-powered LPG ATM at the ‘India Energy Week 2025’ taking place at the Yashobhoomi Convention Center in Dwarka, Delhi. With the introduction of the ‘Any Time Gas Cylinder’ (ATG), Bharat Gas customers can now skip the wait for gas cylinders. They can simply head to the ATG vending machine and grab their cylinder with ease.

TV Pandian, the LPG Business Head, mentioned that this service is currently in a pilot phase in Bangalore, with plans to expand to Delhi, Jaipur, and Mumbai soon. He highlighted that this innovative ATM will allow customers to directly obtain LPG gas.

So, how does this tech work?

Bharat Gas customers can refill their cylinders anytime by visiting a ‘Bharat Gas Insta’ center with an empty one. They just need to place the empty cylinder on the machine’s weighing scale. The AI-enabled cameras around the machine will then verify the cylinder. If everything checks out, the customer will see a validation message on the machine’s screen. Next, they pick up the cylinder and place it in the MT chamber. After that, they review their info and make the payment. Once the payment is done, the new cylinder will be dispensed from the chamber.
