LPG Cylinder Price: LPG cylinder prices have changed. This time, due to the Bihar elections, cylinder prices have decreased in many parts of the country. It’s worth noting that the price of a 19-kilogram cooking gas (LPG) cylinder has been reduced.

Commercial LPG cylinder prices have been reduced following the October price hike, while the price of the 14.2-kilogram domestic cylinder remains unchanged. Commercial LPG cylinders have become cheaper by five rupees starting today. They will now be available for Rs 1,590.50.

In Mumbai, the price has been reduced by the same amount, bringing the price to Rs 1,542. In Kolkata and Chennai, prices have been cut by Rs 4.50, and from today, they cost Rs 1,694 and Rs 1,750, respectively. Earlier in October, commercial cooking gas cylinders in Delhi became more expensive by Rs 15.50. The price of domestic LPG cylinder has remained unchanged since April 08, 2025. Its price is Rs 853 in Delhi, Rs 879 in Kolkata, Rs 852.50 in Mumbai and Rs 868.50 in Chennai.

Oil marketing companies review the prices of cooking gas and aviation fuel every month based on changes in gas prices in the international market and the exchange rate of rupee against the dollar and the new prices are generally implemented from the first of every month. It should be noted that oil marketing companies have increased the price of aviation fuel effective Saturday. According to Indian Oil Corporation, the country’s largest oil marketing company, the price of aviation fuel in Delhi has increased by Rs 777 (0.83 percent) to Rs 94,543.02 per kiloliter from today. Previously, in October, its price was increased by more than three percent to Rs 93,766.02 per kiloliter.

What is Indane gas?

Indane is Indian Oil’s domestic LPG service provider, primarily available in 14.2 kg cylinders. Smaller 5 kg cylinders are also available in select cities and hilly or rural areas.

How to get a new LPG connection?

New LPG connections in India are now available “on-demand,” meaning immediately. If your home doesn’t have an LPG connection from a public sector oil company (PSU) and you have a separate kitchen, you can get a new Indane gas connection for your home.
