When will it be launched in India?
Toyota has confirmed the global unveiling of this SUV at Japan Mobility Show 2025. At the same time, it will be launched in international markets including India after launch in Japan. Although its official launch date for the Indian market has not been revealed, it is expected that this SUV can be introduced in India by the end of 2028.

Design
Talking about its design, the new Land Cruiser FJ will come in a muscular and boxy style while keeping a glimpse of its old classic design. Its front profile is bumped with C-shape headlights, studded grills, and a strong skid plate that gives it a rugged look.
In addition, the square wheel arches, roof rails, and running boards in the side profile enhance the SUV’s robustness and off-roading character. C-shape taillights at the rear and tailgate-mounted spare wheels complete its classic off-road look.
Interior
Talking about the interior, the new Toyota Land Cruiser FJ is designed in an all-black theme, giving it a sporty and robust look. It has two large dual displays for one infotainment system and another for digital instrument cluster.
The dashboard is designed in such a way that it is easy and user-friendly even during off-road driving. Along with this, the Toyota Safety Sense package will also be standard, which will include features such as pre-collision safety system, lane department alert, and automatic high beam assist.

Engine
Talking about the engine found in the Toyota Land Cruiser FJ, it will have a reliable 2.7-liter 2TR-FE petrol engine, which will generate 163 PS power and 246 Nm torque. It will be given a 6-speed automatic transmission and part-time 4WD system, making it easily runable on any off-road track.
This SUV will be built on the IMV platform, which is already known for its robustness and stability. The length of this SUV will be 4,575 mm, width 1,855 mm, height 1,960 mm, and wheelbase 2,580 mm. The shorter wheelbase will give it better maneuverability and off-road control.
