How to Block an SBI Credit Card Online
You can easily block your SBI credit card through your smartphone, computer, or internet banking. Timely blocking prevents unauthorized transactions and allows you to request a replacement card.
First, open the official SBI Card website on your phone or computer. Make sure you’re on the authentic SBI page. Then, log in to your account by entering your username/login ID and password. After logging in, go to Services or Menu and select the “Block Lost/Stolen Card” option. If you have more than one card, select the correct card number. After selecting the card, check the details and complete the block request by clicking Submit.

Once blocked, you will receive a confirmation message on your registered mobile number and email. Note that a blocked card cannot be reactivated. SBI will send a replacement card to your registered address, which usually costs ₹100 plus GST. Blocking a card does not close your entire credit account; it only blocks that particular card.
