Monsoon Update: The weather across the country is rapidly changing. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert for the Andaman and Nicobar Islands on November 1st. Rain is expected in sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim until November 1st. Meanwhile, several states across the country have issued a rain alert for light rain in the morning and evening. The month of November may begin with heavy rain across the country.

An alert for light rain has also been issued for the states surrounding Delhi-NCR until November 4th. Due to Cyclone Montha in the Bay of Bengal, several states have been experiencing rain for the past few days. The Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rain alert for Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh.

Weather Conditions in Delhi
Air pollution continues to wreak havoc across many areas of Delhi and the NCR, amid the increasing cold. Breathing is becoming difficult in Ghaziabad, Noida, Faridabad, and Gurugram. However, there is no possibility of heavy rain in Delhi at this time. Light rain is predicted in some places. Meanwhile, a western disturbance will become active from November 4th to 5th, which may increase the cold in Delhi and NCR.
Rain Warning in Uttar Pradesh
Rain is expected to continue in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. The IMD has predicted light to moderate rain in the state until November 5th. Light rain is expected in Kanpur, Etawah, Barabanki, Ayodhya, Ballia, Bahraich, Prayagraj, and Gorakhpur.
Weather Conditions in Bihar
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for light to moderate rain in Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur, Motihari, Muzaffarpur, Kishanganj, Katihar, Araria, and Purnia over the next 24 hours. The rain has brought a chill to many districts of Bihar.
