The company has introduced this bike in four attractive colors Racing Yellow, Pearl Metallic White, Phantom Black, and Racing Red. Every color combination makes a great contrast with the bike’s blacked out engine and exhaust pipe, making its look more premium.
Design and look
The Triumph Speed 400 is called “Modern Retro Motorcycle ” and it is clearly reflected by its look. The bike features a round headlight, teardrop shape fuel tank and slim tail section giving it a classic roadster feel. Its design is reminiscent of older Triumph motorcycles but the features are completely modern. The company has added extra foam to the seat which has improved comfort during long rides. Although the seat height has increased slightly to 803mm with this, the advantage is that the riding position now looks more comfortable.
Engine and performance
The Triumph Speed 400 features a 398.15cc BS6 liquid-cooled engine, which generates power of 39.5 bhp and torque of 37.5 Nm. The engine comes with a six-speed gearbox and torque-assist clutch, making gear shifting extremely smooth. If you are a speed fan, this bike will not disappoint you. The bike’s frame is based on USD (Upside Down) front forks and a monoshock rear suspension, resulting in a stable and comfortable riding experience on all types of roads.
