Lighting a lamp under the Amla tree
Lighting a brass or clay lamp with cow ghee should be done. Doing so increases wealth and good fortune in the home.
Recite the Shri Sukta
Reciting the Shri Sukta while sitting under the Amla tree can also be beneficial; by doing so, Goddess Lakshmi will be pleased and reside in the home.
Offer white flowers and rice
On Akshaya Navami, offer white flowers, whole grains, and turmeric to Goddess Lakshmi. This ritual eliminates poverty.
Donate Amla
According to beliefs, to receive the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi, donate seven Amla to a temple. Doing so frees the body from diseases and increases longevity.
Consume Amla
Amla is considered like nectar and helps remove negativity from the body. Therefore, consuming Amla or drinking its water can be very beneficial.
