Design
In terms of design, the TVS Jupiter CNG will remain almost the same as its petrol model. Just the difference will be that it can see CNG badging, some new color options, and modern body graphics.
The company plans to offer the same features that are found in today’s modern scooters, such as LED lights, digital-analog instrument cluster, and mobile charging port, etc. That is, TVS has made it clear that being eco-friendly means no reduction in modern design and comfort.

Technology
The same TVS Jupiter CNG has bi-fuel technology, ie this scooter can run on both CNG and Petrol. This will work exactly as today’s CNG cars do. It also has a petrol tank of 2-litre which is planted in the floorboard area. Its filler will be located in the front apron of nozzle scooter.
For CNG the filler nozzle and pressure gauge are placed in the boot area, ie the seat has to be lifted to fill the fuel. The company claims that its total range will be up to about 226 km, combining both CNG and petrol, making it an idol for long ridges as well.
Engine
Also TVS Jupiter CNG has 124.8cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, which generates 7.1 bhp power and 9.4 Nm torque. This engine can carry scooters up to a top speed of around 80 kmph.
Although the power output is slightly less than the traditional petrol Jupiter, this scooter can outstrip every bike in its segment in terms of running cost and fuel efficiency.

Fuel Setup
According to the concept model, the CNG tank in the TVS Jupiter CNG is cleverly fitted under the seat. This tank will be completely covered with plastic panel, making the scooter’s look clean and modern. However, this will definitely affect the boot space, as the CNG tank will cover some space.
This scooter has a CNG tank of 1.4 kg, which has a capacity to run for about 84 kilometers at 1 kg CNG. This meant that in the case of CNG as well as mileage, this scooter would be quite economical.

Now let’s talk about the price of the most important thing. Where the company has not currently announced its official price, but according to industry sources, the estimated price of TVS Jupiter CNG may be between ₹90,000 to ₹1.05 lakhs (ex-showroom).
This price will be slightly higher than its petrol model, but its running cost in long-term usage will be so low that the difference will be over in a few months.
