According to political experts, the main contest in Bihar is expected to be between the NDA and the India Bloc. However, the Jansuraj Party is trying to make the contest triangular in some seats.
The Rashtriya Janata Dal will release the India Alliance’s manifesto for Bihar today. This manifesto is expected to include a series of promises regarding the poor, farmers, the unemployed, and law and order. Former Deputy Chief Minister and Leader of the Opposition in the House, Tejashwi Yadav, will release the manifesto at a press conference at 4 pm. All political parties in the India Bloc have agreed on the manifesto. This manifesto may also include a major announcement for women.
When will Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav hold public meetings?
The India Bloc’s manifesto will be released on Tuesday at 4 pm, with Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi holding a joint rally the following day, Wednesday. Both leaders will begin their campaigning on October 29th from Muzaffarpur and Darbhanga in Bihar, for which party workers have already begun preparations.
Tejashwi Yadav is campaigning from place to place, targeting the government. This time, he is targeting Nitish Kumar’s government over unemployment, migration, and inflation. Eight days remain for the first phase of voting. Election campaigns can be held until the evening of the 6th, and appeals can be made to voters through public meetings.
Which districts will vote in the first phase?
According to the Election Commission’s guidelines, the first phase will cover 121 seats across 18 districts in Bihar. These include Gopalganj, Siwan, Saran, Vaishali, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Saharsa, Madhepura, Khagaria, Munger, Begusarai, Lakhisarai, Sheikhpura, Nalanda, Patna, Bhojpur, and Buxar.
Where will the elections be held in the other extreme?
The second phase will see voting in 122 seats across 20 districts in Bihar. These include West Champaran, East Champaran, Shivhar, Sitamarhi, Supaul, Madhubani, Araria, Kishanganj, Purnia, Kitahar, Bhagalpur, Banka, Jamui, Nawada, Gaya, Jehanabad, Arwal, Aurangabad, Rohtas, and Kaimur. Voting for the second phase will take place on November 11th. Results for all 243 assembly seats will be declared on November 14th.
