Chhath Puja Bank Holiday: The festive season is just about to end. Banks will remain closed for the next few days as well due to Chhath Puja. So, if you’re planning to visit the bank during these days, be sure to check your city’s bank holidays before planning your trip.

It’s worth noting that the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) already releases a list of bank holidays, which details which banks will be closed on which days in which cities or states. Therefore, before visiting a bank, be sure to learn about RBI bank holidays and then plan your visit.

This year, Chhath Puja will be celebrated between October 25th and 28th. October 25th is the fourth Saturday of the month, so banks will be closed nationwide on October 25th. October 26th is Sunday, so banks will remain closed nationwide on this day as well.

27 October Bank Holiday

Chhath Puja will also be celebrated on Monday, October 27th. Consequently, the RBI has declared a bank holiday in several cities on this day. Banks will be closed in West Bengal, Bihar, and Jharkhand on October 27th due to Chhath Puja. Banks will remain open in all other states except these three. Speaking of Tuesday, October 28th, banks in two states will be closed due to Chhath Puja. Banks will be closed in Bihar and Jharkhand on October 28th due to Chhath Puja.
