Free Treatment Up to ₹5 Lakh
The Ayushman Bharat Scheme proves to be a public benefit. Under this scheme, you can obtain an Ayushman Card. This card allows you to receive free treatment up to ₹5 lakh. This means that this treatment must be performed annually, without any hassle. The government has made this process completely digital. The Ayushman Card has been launched for the economically weaker sections. This will provide relief from financial hardship.
Easily get an Ayushman Card.
First, you’ll need to install the Ayushman app on your phone. This is also a government app.
You’ll then need to select your preferred language.
After clicking Login, you’ll need to click on Beneficiary.
You’ll then need to enter the captcha and mobile number.
Then the Search for Beneficiary page will open.
After this, you’ll need to select PM-JAY as the scheme.
You’ll then need to select your state and district.
You’ll then need to enter your Aadhaar number and log in to the app.
You’ll then see the Ayushman cards for your household members in the app.
You’ll then see “Authenticate” written next to the member’s name.
Tapping on it will require you to enter the member’s Aadhaar number and receive an OTP. After entering that OTP, a photo of the member will be taken.
You’ll then need to enter the member’s mobile number and their relationship to you.
After completing e-KYC, you’ll need to submit the form.
After all the information is verified within a week, you’ll need to download the member’s card from the same app.
Which diseases will be treated?
For your information, the Ayushman Bharat Yojana is a public welfare scheme. Serious illnesses can also be treated free of charge under this scheme. This includes heart disease, cancer, neurological diseases, kidney and urinary problems.
