Design

At first glance, the Honda CB125 Hornet draws attention from its strong style. Its design looks so premium that no one will say that it is just a 125cc bike. Its muscular fuel tank, golden USD fork, and sharp LED headlamp gives it a real streetfighter look.

The rear end of the bike is also quite attractive, with split-seat setup and LED indicators giving it a more modern touch. In the Pearl Siren Blue color scheme, this bike shows a different glow on the road. Honda has again retained its credibility in terms of fit and finish – There is no loose panel or cheap plastic feeling anywhere.

Comfort

You get a comfortable yet light sporty riding feel as soon as you sit in the CB125 Hornet. It is neither too high nor too low for riders with a 5’7 ” height due to the 796mm seat height. The handlebar is slightly tilted forward, making the riding position look natural and comfortable.

The bike weighs just 124kg, so it is extremely easy to handle in city traffic or tight space. The seat cushion provides good support even in long rides.

Engine

This bike has a 124cc single cylinder, air-cooled engine, which gives 11.1hp power and 11.2Nm torque. Its mid-range punch in City Riding is particularly impressive. The response found in the bike at the time of overtaking makes it even more fun.

The 5-speed gearbox work is extremely smooth, and the clutch is also lightweight, so that changing gears repeatedly doesn’t even cause trouble. On the highway, this bike feels the most stable and refined at a speed of 70-75 kmph.

Honda has also made this bike great in Efficiency — city mileage 59.8 kmpl and highway mileage 69.3 kmpl, making it a perfect daily commuter.

Also, features like Bluetooth connectivity, call/message alerts, and turn-by-turn navigation via the Honda RoadSync App are also available. Furthermore, the bike also includes a silent start system and a USB Type-C charging port, making it even more attractive to tech-savvy millennials.

Price

The Honda CB125 Hornet is priced at ₹1.03 lakhs (ex-showroom), making it slightly more expensive than the TVS Raider 125 and Hero Xtreme 125R. But if you keep in mind its build quality, USD fork, and Honda reliability, this price looks completely legitimate.
