Sometimes, some vehicles become more than just vehicles, but also statements—and the Mahindra BE Rall-E is one of them. This electric off-roader, based on the BE 6, was recently spotted again in a fully camouflaged state in a Chennai parking lot. It was first teased two years ago for a 2023 release, but no launch date has been revealed yet. Nevertheless, its design and power have already created a buzz among automobile enthusiasts. So, let’s find out the details.

Mahindra BE Rall-EQ
Its design has the same vigor and stammer that a real off-roading SUV should have. Its all-terrain tyres, small and chopped front bumper (which gives better approach angle) and different looking circular headlights give it a completely different identity from the rest of BE6.

Its roof rack is also special, which was completely hidden in a blue-and-white protective cover. Mahindra seemed to be hiding something special in it — maybe an extra gear or storage setup for adventure tools.
Power and Battery
Now let’s talk about power, Mahindra BE Rall-E is expected to get a battery pack of 79 kWh, which will come with dual-motor setup. This means that it will be equipped with the All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system — and that is what makes it a real off-roader.
This battery setup is likely to provide power of around 285 PS and torque of 380 Nm. But if Mahindra adds another motor to it, the power output can increase from 100 to 120 PS. In such a situation, this BE Rall-E will maintain its hold in any difficult area.

Mahindra’s Electric Revolution
Mahindra’s BE series, such as the BE 6 and XEV 9e, have already become quite popular in the market. The special thing is that XEV 9e, which costs ₹above 22 lakhs, is still selling more. This means that people are now not only liking Electric SUVs, but also trusting them.

In such a situation, the launch of BE Rall-E will be another major step for Mahindra. It is expected that the company may launch it in 2025 next year. By then the BE Series would have made its strong hold, giving Rall-E a ready and excited market.
