Design

At first glance, the new Z1100 appears to be a redesigned version of the old Z1000. And to be honest, that’s not a bad thing. Kawasaki has retained its signature ‘Sugomi design,’ which gives the bike a predator-like stance. The dual-LED headlamps up front, sharp cuts on the sides, and aggressive tail section all combine to give the bike a very muscular look.

Coming to the engine, the bike is powered by a 1,099cc, liquid-cooled, four-cylinder engine borrowed from the Ninja 1100SX. This engine produces 136bhp and 113Nm of torque. The standard variant features fully adjustable Showa springs. The SE variant gets an Ohlins S46 monoshock with a remote preload adjuster.
