According to the Meteorological Department, rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is expected in Azamgarh, Ballia, Basti, Chandauli, Deoria, and Ghazipur. Additionally, a heavy rain alert has been issued for Gorakhpur, Jaunpur, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, and Mau. Heavy rain is also expected in Mirzapur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Siddharth Nagar, Sonbhadra, and Varanasi.
September 26th is expected to be a disastrous day for Bundelkhand. A warning for heavy rain has been issued for Jhansi, Jalaun, Lalitpur, and Hamirpur. Meanwhile, heavy rain is expected in Mahoba, Banda, and Chitrakoot. People have been urged to stay indoors. An alert has been issued for the possibility of lightning.
