Meta New Ray-Ban Display Smart Glasses Launched: Technology is evolving day by day, and now it looks like the smartphone era is also going to end after Meta New Ray-Ban Display Smart Glasses launch at the “Meta Connect 2025” event. A significant and revolutionary feature has also been added: a heads-up display, which is equipped on the down portion of the right lens. This display is capable of showing notifications, maps, and many other information. Here is everything you need to know about the all-new Ray-Ban Display Smart Glasses and its price.

Neural Band Added

Meta has also provided a new neural band with these smart glasses. This neural band can read your hand muscle vibrations and send messages to the glasses. That means now you will be able to control music, calls, SMS, and other apps with just small hand gestures. According to many technology experts, Meta’s new launch can set a new trend in the wearable sector and can also lessen the requirement of smartphones.

New Ray-Ban Display Smart Glasses Price

Meta has kept the price at $799, which is around ₹71,000 in Indian currency, for the new Ray-Ban Display Smart Glasses. At this price point, you will get both the glasses and the Meta Neural Band. You can purchase these wearables in two colour options, which include black and sand. For now, the smart glasses will be available from 30 September in America at a few offline retailers. Countries like Canada, France, Italy, and the UK will witness its launch next year. However, Meta has not revealed any information about its Indian launch.

New Ray-Ban Display Smart Glasses Features

The new Ray-Ban Display Smart Glasses weigh around 69g. The new features make the glasses slightly heavier than earlier versions. Over time, Meta has also improved ergonomics in this area because holding even a 69g device continuously on your eyes can be uncomfortable. Meta has placed a new display screen at the down portion of the right lens. This is a 600 x 600 resolution screen, and it comes with an impressive 5000 nits peak brightness, so you can easily view its content even in indirect sunlight. The screen comes with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate.

Meta has also provided the Meta Neural Band with these glasses. It was previously unveiled at the Connect 2024 event with the Orion prototype. This neural band can capture even small hand gestures and directly command the glasses. Meta has stated that it took over four years of research to develop these neural bands. The smart glasses come with 18 hours of battery life. You can also make video calls and send text messages with the help of these smart glasses.
