Maruti Suzuki has launched a powerful new SUV, the Victoris, at its Arena dealerships. This new vehicle directly competes with its successful SUV, the Brezza. At first glance, the Victoris appears larger and more premium, but the Brezza also remains a strong contender with its affordable price and smart features. Let’s find out what distinguishes these two SUVs.

Which car is larger in size

When it comes to size, the Victoris clearly leads. Its length is 4360 mm, while the Brezza’s is 3995 mm. The Victoris also has a longer wheelbase of 2600 mm, which is longer than the Brezza’s 2500 mm. This means that the Victoris offers more rear seat space and comfort, a major plus point for long journeys.

Which SUV is more powerful

The Brezza has a 1.5-liter engine that produces 102 bhp. It is available in both petrol and CNG variants. The petrol engine is available with an automatic gearbox option. The Victoris, on the other hand, also has a 1.5-liter 102 bhp engine, but offers more options. It offers automatic and manual transmissions, as well as AWD (all-wheel drive). Most notably, the CNG tank in the Victoris is designed to minimize boot space. Furthermore, the Victoris also features a powerful 115 bhp Strong Hybrid powertrain, which is not available in the Brezza.

Which one is ahead in mileage

The Brezza’s mileage ranges from 19.8 km/l to 25.51 km/kg, but the Victoris surpasses it in this regard as well.

The Strong Hybrid variant of the Victoris delivers an impressive 28.65 km/l.

Its 1.5-liter mild hybrid version also delivers an impressive mileage of 21.18 km/l.

The AWD variant also delivers a mileage of 19.07 km/l.

Even on CNG, the Victoris’ average mileage is 27.02 km/kg, which is better than the Brezza.

Who wins the feature race

The Brezza offers features like a HUD (head-up display) and a 360-degree camera, making it unique. However, being a larger and premium SUV, the Victory outperforms it in terms of features. It offers premium features like a panoramic sunroof, a powered handbrake, cooled seats, ADAS, Dolby Atmos, connected car technology, a powered tailgate, and a large 10.1-inch touchscreen.

Price and Value-for-Money

The Brezza is more affordable in terms of price. Its prices start at ₹8.6 lakh and go up to ₹14.14 lakh. Meanwhile, the Victoris is priced between ₹11 lakh and ₹20 lakh. Although the Victoris is more expensive, it fully justifies its price with premium features, more space, and better mileage.
