New Delhi: The Transport Corporation is very concerned about the increasing road accidents, because families are destroyed by ignoring the rules. Therefore, the government also wants to put the brakes on such unpleasant incidents by making rules related to traffic. Now taking a big step, the lane system has been implemented on the 125 km-long highway from Chandwaji to Shahjahanpur on Jaipur-Delhi National Highway No. 48 to reduce accidents.
It has been implemented by the administration since September 6. On the very first day, challans were issued to those who ignored the rules. Before implementing this rule, people have also been informed by running an awareness campaign. During the campaign, more than 100 cuts on the highway have also been closed. Know the important things related to this.
Action taken on the very first day
On the very first day of implementation of the lane system, ignoring the rules proved costly for the drivers. The police issued challans to 1785 people for violating traffic rules. According to Jaipur Range IG Rahul Prakash, 783 challans have been issued in Jaipur rural for violating the lane system. Rs 3 lakh 62 thousand 300 was recovered in this. Whereas in Kotputli-Bahadurgarh district, 1002 challans were issued and a fine of Rs 3 lakh 10 thousand was collected.
Police teams should be careful.
The distance from Jaipur and Delhi National Highway, Chandwaji to Shahjahanpur is 125 km. Any driver who ignores the rules will not be spared. Police teams will make videos of vehicles on the highway. The most important thing is that the videos will be shared in the group. Toll booths and other teams present at five places will issue challans on the same basis.
Strict action will be taken against those who break the lane system. According to a report, if the lane system is broken, a challan of Rs 2000 is also issued. An additional fine is to be imposed for other violations of the Motor Vehicle Act. The most important thing is that there is also a provision to seize the vehicle if the papers are not available.
The government has taken this step in view of the increasing road accidents. Right now, it has been implemented under a pilot project from Chandwaji to Shahjahanpur. The scope of the lane system can be increased further in the future.
