Red alert in these districts
The Meteorological Centre has issued an alert regarding heavy rains in Banswara, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, Salumber and Udaipur districts. An alert has been issued for heavy rain in Jalore, Chittorgarh, Jhalawar, Rajsamand and Sirohi districts.
A yellow alert has been declared in many districts of Rajasthan. A yellow warning has been issued for rain in many districts, including Bikaner, Sriganganagar, Hanumangarh, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Nagaur, Ajmer, Pali, Jaipur, Dausa, Tonk, Bundi, Sawaimadhopur, and Banswara.
An alert has been issued in view of heavy to heavy rain on 6 and 7 September in most of the districts of Udaipur and Jodhpur divisions. Flood and waterlogging-like situations can occur due to rain. At the same time, moderate to heavy rain can also occur in many districts of Ajmer, Bikaner, Kota, Jaipur and Bharatpur divisions.
