Tremendous benefits of the scheme
Under the PM Vishwakarma Yojana, beneficiaries get many facilities:
Training
First of all, the artisans are given training for 15 days so that they can further improve their skills. During this training, they also get a stipend (allowance) of ₹ 500 per day.
Assistance to buy modern equipment
After completion of the training, the artisans are given financial assistance of ₹ 15,000 to buy modern equipment for their work.
Interest-free loan
They also get a collateral-free (without guarantee) loan of up to ₹ 1 lakh to expand their business, on which the government gives a subsidy of 8%. This loan is for a period of 18 months. The second-phase loan is up to ₹ 2 lakh, for which a subsidy is also available.
Incentive for digital transactions
They also get an incentive of ₹ 100 every month for doing digital transactions.

How to apply
Application for this scheme can be done online. First of all, you have to register yourself by visiting https://pmvishwakarma.gov.in/. Aadhaar card, identity card, and documents related to the profession will be required at the time of registration. After the application process is completed, the documents will be verified. If everything is found correct, the facilities related to the scheme will be made available to the beneficiary. In this way, artisans can become financially strong by using their art and skills and get new employment opportunities.
